Here are the answers to a few questions you might have about THE MARRIAGE PROJECT.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
I am looking for participants who are legally married at any stage or length of marriage. I’m also interested in spending time with couples who have or have had unique situations in their relationship, such as divorced and remarried, military families, etc.
HOW DO I APPLY?
Complete the form HERE and I will get back to you with the questionnaire. Once the questionnaire is complete, I will review your answers and make sure I have availability for you. Part of the application process is signing a release. A signed release by both parties is absolutely necessary to participate in this project.
DO YOU COMPENSATE?
I am not financially compensating for this project, but am gifting every couple with the photos from their session along with a limited print release to print your photos up to an 8×12 for personal use only.
WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH MY PHOTOS?
Most likely, your photos will be published on social media, websites, contests, with the possibility of a book. All photos will remain the property of Tiffany-Joy Photography.
WHAT ABOUT THE INTERVIEW PART?
During our session together, I will ask you general questions about your marriage. My hope is that my participants will be open and honest and transparent about their victories and struggles over the course of their relationship. The interview will be able to be used if you agree to sign a release. You will not have to answer any questions you aren’t comfortable with. Your interview answers can be used on social media, websites, contests and possibly a book. I will use the time during the interview to draw out emotions and connections and will take photos during this time.
WHERE WILL THE PHOTO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
All photo sessions will be done in your home. I encourage you to bring out photos and memories of your journey together to be photographed as well.
WHEN WILL THE PHOTO SESSIONS BE?
I will work with you and your schedule to find the perfect time that works for both of us.
